Reciprocal associations between intuitive eating and positive body image components: A multi-wave, cross-lagged study
BACK
Sample details

This study aimed to investigate possible longitudinal bi-directional links between self-compassion, self-criticism, and three components of positive body image. Australian adult women were recruited to complete the online survey battery at baseline (T1). The final sample consisted of 3,039 adult women with a mean age of 32.33 years. These participants were again invited to complete the same survey four (T2) and eight (T3) months later. Participants were recruited from advertisements distributed throughout the author's online psychoeducational platform for disordered eating.
