Royal Free HIV Cohort Study (RFHCS)

The RFHCS is a prospective study of over 7,000 individuals attending the Royal Free Hospital in London, England, for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) care since 1991. Routine data collected during patients' attendance at the Ian Charleson Day Centre at the hospital is collated to form the cohort. Research questions relating to diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, management, and experience of individuals living with HIV are addressed using data from the cohort.
