The Risk Perception, Threat, and Anxiety Decay in Lone-Wolf Terrorist Events in the US was designed to increase the knowledge of the public understanding, attitudes, risk perceptions and policy preferences concerning lone-wolf terrorist attacks in the United States of America. The study recruited participants who were at least 18 years old from the GfK KnowledgePanel. Over 1,700 participants completed the baseline data collection sweep. Participants completed two data collection sweeps, a baseline in 2016 and one follow-up six months later.
