The RODAM study follows a cohort of adult Ghanaians between 25-70 years old both within Ghana and following migration to Europe. Recruitment methods differed by nation, with methods such as letter invitations, community health clinics, and obtaining contact details from registration offices used. The baseline measurement included participants living in rural and urban Ghana, the Netherlands, Germany, and England, however follow-up measurement only included participants from rural and urban Ghana and the Netherlands.
