Patients included in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond Psychiatric Case Register were living in Rotterdam at the time at which they were in contact with mental health services. Data from almost all mental health care services in the region are linked, including the Rotterdam Crisis Intervention Centre; outpatient clinics; and the child and adolescent departments of local hospitals.
