Sasaguri Genkimon Study (SGS)

SGS aims to investigate the relationship between lifestyle factors and the need for nursing care in older adults in Japan. The study recruited individuals aged 65 years or older who did not require nursing care from Sasaguri Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. In 2011, over 2,600 participants completed the baseline data collection. Participants were followed up in 2013 and 2020.
