Sample details

SIDIAP is a database of population-wide primary care electronic health records that was created to provide a useful tool for healthcare research. SIDIAP includes data from 328 primary care centres managed by the Catalan Health Institute in Catalonia (ICS), Spain. Individuals are automatically incorporated into SIDIAP if they are registered in the public health system and have been assigned to a primary care centre of the ICS. Over 5.8 million people are actively included in the database since June 2021. SIDIAP is updated on a 6-monthly basis and as of June 2021, with median follow-up time of the population 15.5 years.
