The Signature Biobank is a longitudinal repository of biospecimen, psychological, sociodemographic, and diagnostic data of patients who were admitted at the Institut Universitaire en Santé Mentale de Montréal (IUSMM) psychiatric emergency services in Quebec, Canada. A matched control group of participants were also recruited in the same catchment area. Since November 2012, the Signature Biobank has acquired cross-sectional data for over 2,000 patients, and longitudinal data for over 1,400 patients diagnosed with various psychiatric disorders, including psychotic, mood, anxiety, substance use, and personality disorders.
