Sri Lanka Health and Ageing Study (SLHAS)

The SLHAS cohort is comprised of over 6,500 participants located from across Sri Lanka. All participants are aged over 18, and 51% are female. Since 2024, the cohort have been followed up twice. Participants aged over 70 years were oversampled to make up approximately 16% of the cohort, with 70% comprising of participants aged 30 - 69 years.
