Shanghai Municipal Dynamic Cohort of Student Common Diseases (SMDCSCD)

The SMDCSCD aims to track the annual trend in common diseases and relevant determinants among students in Shanghai, China. The cohort includes primary- and secondary-school students aged 6 to 13 years from across 16 districts of Shanghai. In 2021, approximately 6,800 students were assessed, and participants have been followed up annually, with new participants continuously included throughout the study period.
