The SNC is a nationwide cohort of Swiss residents focused on linking administrative records. Participants are Swiss residents of all ages who participated in the 1990 or 2000 Swiss national census. The cohort includes 12 million participants. Data is collected through administrative data linkages, allowing for continuous follow-up. A sub-group of participants was part of the Swiss Health Survey (SHS) in 1992. The data from this study has been added to the SNC to improve data linkage.
