The SPau cohort aimed to investigate the mechanisms of expression and prediction of different cognitive phenotypes in Parkinson's disease. Participants were assessed over 4 years at the Movement Disorders Unit of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona, Spain. The study recruited 107 participants, including 82 individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) and 25 healthy controls (HC). Longitudinal assessments consisted of 4 visits for PD patients (baseline, 2 years, 3 years, and 4 years), and 2 visits for HC (baseline and 4 years).
