The Speed-Shunde cohort study, initiated in 2021, aims to investigate the incidence of cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome and metabolic-associated multimorbidity within the population. At baseline, the study included 10,123 participants from all 10 towns in Shunde district of China. Participants included those living in the area for at least 6 months, 18 years or older, with the sample having 3,816 (38%) males and 6,307 (625) females. The study plans to follow-up with individuals every 2 to 3 years.
