Stroke Registry Investigating cognitive Decline (STRIDE)

STRIDE aimed to investigate the mechanisms of early and delayed cognitive decline after stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). The study recruited participants aged 20 years and above who were admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong, for stroke or TIA, resulting in a baseline cohort of over 1,000 participants. The baseline participants were mostly male, with an average age of 69 years.
