Sample details

TARGet Kids! is a research registry dedicated to improving child health. Between 2008 and 2013, the registry recruited children aged 0 to 6 years old from primary care practices in Toronto, Canada, during routine paediatric visits. Over 5,000 parents have completed the baseline data collection on behalf of their children. Data is collected from participants at 0-6, 12, 15, and 18 months, as well as 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6+ years. Approximately 63% of the original participants have had two or more follow-ups, 33% have had three or more follow-ups, and 12% have had four or more follow-ups. Participants are expected to be followed up every year until adolescence.
