The Danish Birth Cohort Studies include 4 birth cohorts of participants born in 1895, 1905, 1910, and 1915. The study included all individuals born between April 1, 1895, and May 31, 1896, with a total participation rate of 75% (207 participants). Males had a higher participation rate (83%) compared to females (73%), and non-participants exhibited higher 6-month mortality; the same survey team conducted seven follow-ups until the entire cohort had passed away.
