BACK
Sample details

This study aimed to examine the impact of advanced maternal age, considered to be 35 years or age or older at the anticipated date of delivery, on maternal, obstetric, fetal and perinatal outcomes. 82 women who were pregnant for the first time were included in the study. The sample was divided into 2 groups: the study group of women aged 35 years or more; and the control group of women aged 20-34 years. The study group was further split into a very advanced age group of women older than 40 years, and an advanced age group of women between 35 and 40 years old. Data collection took place from June 2021 until June 2022.
