The study initially included 525 healthcare professionals in a survey conducted during April and May of 2020. Most participants were women, with ages ranging from 23 to 68 years old. The study aimed to assess the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these health professionals in Buenos Aires, Argentina, utilizing an online form to evaluate depression, anxiety, and hypochondriasis, and their association with perceptions of COVID-19, through various psychological scales and a virtual survey.
