The TLC is a nationally representative longitudinal sample of youth and young adults in the United States, aged 15 to 21 years at baseline. Data were collected entirely online. Approximately 14,000 participants completed the baseline survey between April and August 2014, with follow-up assessments completed every six months to one year.
