The Tobago Bone Health Study, formerly known as the Tobago Prostate Cancer Survey, aimed to identify anthropometric, lifestyle and health-related correlated of hip bone mineral density in middle-aged and older males residing on the island of Tobago. The study initially included over 2,500 community-dwelling men aged 40 and above from the island of Tobago who were able to walk and not terminally ill. Initial examination took place from 2000 to 2004, with the latest follow-up occurring at 10 years post-baseline.
