The TMM Brain MRI Study aims to investigate neuropsychological factors related to the population's responses to the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (GEJE) and the subsequent tsunami. Participants were recruited from the TMM Cohort Study and the TMM BirThree Cohort Study, at least 20 years old and from Miyagi Prefecture in Eastern Japan. Of the over 70,000 invited participants, just over 12,000 completed the baseline survey.
