TMM CommCohort Study is a community-based cohort study designed to assess the effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake (GEJE) and the following tsunami in 2011. People between the ages of 20 and 75 who were registered in areas affected by GEJE were recruited to the study during health check-ups in the Iwate and Miyagi Prefectures of Japan. Over 87,000 people consented to participate in the study.
