The Toyama Birth Cohort Study is an ongoing follow-up study on lifestyles and health for all children born between 2 April 1989 and 1 April 1990 in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Over 10,000 children were recruited to participate. Since the study started in 1992, the children in the cohort have been evaluated every three years.
