Sample details

TRACK-HD is a prospective, multi-national, observational biomarker study in individuals with premanifest and early Huntington's disease (HD) who were recruited from sites in Leiden (Netherlands), London (UK), Paris (France), and Vancouver (Canada). The study involved three groups: participants who are carriers of the mutant HTT gene but did not yet have HD symptoms (premanifest); individuals with early HD; and healthy controls matched by age and sex. All participants underwent clinical, neuropsychiatric, cognitive, motor, oculomotor and MRI assessments at baseline, 12, 24 and 36 months.
