TrackOn-HD was designed to investigate changes from health to early stage 2 of Huntington's disease (HD) using a wide range of measurements. Pre-HD and age- and sex-matched control participants were largely recruited from the existing Track-HD study, which was a precursor to TrackOn-HD. Early HD participants were recruited from university medical centres in England, France, Canada, and the Netherlands. At each centre, the study recruited participants between the ages of 18 and 65, unless they had previously participated in the Track-HD study. This resulted in a baseline cohort of 239 participants.
