Sample details

TransplantLines aims to improve the outcomes, health, and quality of life of transplant patients by collecting data from a cohort in the Netherlands. Recruited transplant patients were of all ages, whilst recruited participants were organ donor participants aged at least 18 years. Organs received by participating transplant patients include kidneys, liver, lung, heart, and small bowel, while donor participants donated liver and kidneys. Transplant participants are followed up at 3 and 6 months and 1, 5, and 10 years after transplantation, and donor participants are followed up after surgery at 3 months, 1, 5, and 10 years after donation.
