The trauma database in Curaçao assesses the incidence and trends of trauma-related injuries, aiming to improve health services in the region. The study included almost 15,000 patients with trauma-related injuries, comprising over 9,000 males and approximately 5,500 females. Conducted between 2000 and 2013, participants were followed up through registry records during these years.
