UHP investigates the health determinants of and impact of health innovations on a large cohort in the Netherlands. Participants are residents of all ages from Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht, Netherlands. At baseline, approximately 10,000 individuals were included in the study. As of today, the cohort has grown to 12,000 through a subsequent recruitment effort. Follow-up is continuous, leveraging routine healthcare data to monitor participants' health indefinitely as long as they remain within the healthcare system.
