UKOSS is a national system used to study rare disorders of pregnancy. Pregnancy information is collected from obstetricians, midwives, obstetric anaesthetists and risk midwives from 192 consultant-led obstetric units across the UK. Participating units send the monthly number of cases of different obstetric issues derived from medical records, which are collated into a national database.
