The SAGE study aims to investigate the factors (emotional, cognitive, genetic, social, physical, etc.) associated with successful ageing across the lifespan. Participants include 1,800 community-dwelling adults in San Diego County, United States of America. Initially, the cohort included only participants aged 50 to 99 years who completed baseline assessment in 2010 but it was expanded to include participants aged 21 to 50 years, who completed baseline assessment from 2012 to 2013. All participants have completed follow-ups every one to four years with the most recent being in 2023.
