Sample details

State Mental Health Agencies (SMHAs) in the United States compile and report annual data as part of their application package for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)'s Community Mental Health Block Grant. These compiled data constitute the URS. Each annual output table provides summary information on the SMHA clients served in that year, and may include information on their sociodemographic characteristics, outcomes of care, use of selected evidence-based practices, client assessment of care, insurance status, living situation, employment status, and readmission to state psychiatric hospitals.
