This study compared the development of infants at high-risk (HR) of being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and typically developing low-risk (LR) infants. Beginning in 2011, the study recruited 16 HR infants and 16 LR infants, along with their caregivers, in the United States of America. Infants and their caregivers were assessed at 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 months, and at 2 years.
