Welsh Longitudinal General Practice Dataset (WLGP)
The WLGP includes records for all patients registered with Welsh general practitioners (GPs) who have agreed to share data with the SAIL Databank, resulting in an 86% coverage of the Welsh population and 83% coverage of GPs in Wales. Each practice maintains electronic health records for each patient, capturing a wide range of clinical information and events over time, including diagnoses, medical history, symptoms, investigations, prescribed medication and referrals to tertiary care.
