The YOUth cohort study is an accelerated cohort with two groups, the YOUth Baby & Child, and the YOUth Child & Adolescent. The YOUth Baby & Child cohort includes over 2,500 pregnant women at 20 weeks of gestation, as well as their partners. They were recruited through hospital visits and were followed up four times between conception and the child reaching two years, and are then followed up approximately every three years. The YOUth Child & Adolescent cohort was aged between 8 and 10 years at recruitment, then followed up every 3 years.
